The work to be performed within 30 working days following the Notice to Proceed Date is described below: The project provides for the improvement of sidewalk and curb ramps in multiple locations to provide accessible pedestrian facilities from Eatonville High School to the western portion of the Town of Eatonville. All bid proposals must be on the form provided and must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of certified check, cashiers check or Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into the Agreement and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds within the time stated in the Contract Documents, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to the Town of Eatonville. The Bidder shall guarantee the total Bid price for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of Bid opening. The Town of Eatonville hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contracts entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award.
