The purpose of this Request for Quote is to procure Asbestos Abatement Services for Beaumont Hall (areas as specified) at SUNY Plattsburgh completion by January 17, 2025. The successful vendor will be a New York State Licensed/Certified Asbestos Abatement contractor. All tests will be performed in accordance with any applicable local codes. All payment applications must be accompanied by certified payrolls providing proof of prevailing wage rates paid to individuals who performed the work, using PRC #2024014932. Technical services shall include: The Abatement will include floor tile, mastic, and carpet removal. In addition to the abatement, two (2) gypsum board walls will need to be removed. Substantial completion is required by January17, 2025. Attached is a PDF showing the floor plan lay out and which rooms require abatement. State University of New York at Plattsburgh intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law 355 (5) (a), for the noted service. Disqualify any Bidder whose conduct and/or proposal fails to conform to the requirements of the RFQ. 6. Use proposal information obtained through site visits, management interviews and the state's investigation of a Bidder's qualifications, experience ability or financial standing, and any material or information submitted by the Bidder in response to SUNY's request for clarifying information, in the course of evaluation and/or selection under the RFQ. 7. Prior to the submission date, amend the RFQ specifications to correct errors of oversights, or to supply additional information, as it becomes available. 8. Request certified audited financial statements for the past three (3) completed fiscal years and/or other appropriate supplementation including, but not limited to, interim financial statements and credit reports. 9. Request references and contact any or all references. 10. Adjust or correct cost or cost figures with the concurrence of the Bidder if mathematical or typographical errors exist. 11. Advise the Successful Bidder of an objectionable employee(s) and/or subcontractor(s). 12. Waive requirements or amend this RFQ upon notification to all Bidders. Mandatory requirements may be eliminated if unmet by all Bidders. 13. Negotiate with Bidders responding to this RFQ within the requirements necessary to serve the best interests of SUNY. 14.
