Award to be made on an all or none basis and will not be awarded to separate offerors. Expected award date is February 18, 2025. Engineer's Estimated Cost: $400,000.00 The successful Offeror will be required to furnish a performance bond in accordance with Chapter 2253, Government Code, in the amount of 100% of the total contract price in the event that said contract price exceeds $100,000 and the successful Offeror will be required to furnish a payment bond in accordance with Chapter 2253, Government Code, in the amount of 100% of the total contract price in the event that said contract price exceeds $50,000. Said statutory bonds should be issued by a company carrying a current Best Rating of "A" or better. Offerors are required, whether or not a payment or performance bond is required, to submit a cashier's or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the Lubbock Power & Light, or a proposal bond from a reliable surety company, payable without recourse to the order of Lubbock Power & Light in an amount not less than 5% of the total amount of the proposal submitted as a guarantee that Offeror will enter into a contract and execute all necessary bonds (if required) within ten (10) business days after notice of award of the contract to him.
