The District is a Special-Purpose Taxing District created by Chapter 190 Florida Statutes. The entities submitting proposals must be able to provide all Pool Playset Replacement services as outlined in the Scope of Work and meet the following qualifications: (i) Fully licensed and insured, (ii) At least five (5) years minimum continuous operation, (iii) experience with other communities of a similar nature, size and Property level to the District, with verifiable references, (iv) Proposer must be in good financial standing with no history of bankruptcy or financial reorganization, (v) Proposer will be encouraged to have made a site visit prior to submitting the proposal and will be responsible for its own evaluation of the site, (vi) Proposer shall provide a cost information that will be honored throughout the RFP and installation process. Any and all questions relative to this project shall be directed in writing, by e-mail only, to District Manager at BBIandon@rizzetta.com Written inquiries or questions regarding the proposal must be received by January 8, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. Answers to all questions will be provided to all known bidders via e-mail January 8, 2025 no later than 5:00 p.m. The District currently requires the replacement of the pool playset in its entirety as further outlined below. The District is scheduled for pool resurfacing services to commence on June 9, 2025 and any services associated with the pool playset replacement shall commence at the same time, and in conjunction with, the pool resurfacing project. The pool playset replacement services includes, but are not limited to, the following: o Removal and disposal of the existing playset system in zero entry area of existing pool. o Break existing pool shell/floor to expose existing rebar and feature supply piping. o Combine existing 3" feature supplies and coordinate for pedestal and piping stub locations. o Pressure test and observe for leaks as needed. o Cap unused feature piping under the pool shell and at the equipment pack area. o Mount play feature on pedestals and connect pipe stub. o Verify steps and slide discharges are smooth with existing pool floor slopes. o Verify underside of play feature remains inaccessible. o Replace additional pipe, fittings, valves, gauges, indicators as needed. o Add electrical contacts, outlets, boxes and wiring as required. o Removal of all debris related to the project. For additional information regarding the scope of work, including specific renderings regarding the proposed play feature, please refer to the Greyhawk Landing Play Feature Plans as provided by Kimes Engineering. (Please note: The pool resurfacing project is already contracted. This scope of services, as it relates to the plan and renderings, specifically refers to the play feature.) Event bid note: Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed package, shall bear the name of the proposer on the outside of the package, and shall clearly identify the project. Any proposal not completed as specified or missing the required proposal documents may be disqualified at the District's sole and absolute discretion. The District has the right to reject any and all proposals in its sole and absolute discretion, whether or not reasonable, either with or without cause, and waive any technical errors, informalities, or irregularities if it determines in its discretion, it is in the best interest to do so. The District may further postpone the award of the contract, elect not to proceed with the subject award process and/or to accept a proposal or portion of a proposal, which in its judgment best serves the District.
