As of 1/8/25, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project site is located at the Thompson Park Municipal Golf Course consisting of removing, replacing, and reinstalling two (2) Irrigation Pumps at the Thompson Park Golf Course. The successful contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in the specifications. The successful bidder will be required to supply all labor, materials and equipment to perform the Golf Course Irrigation Pump Replacement Project at the Watertown Thompson Park Golf Course as described in the specifications, and bidding documents and as directed by the City Engineer including, but not limited to the following: 1. The contractor is to replacement of the existing irrigation pumps at the golf course, along with installation of variable frequency drives. Also included is the upgrade of electrical and plumbing components. 2. Needed are two multistage vertical pumps installed, including 4" Sch40 stainless steel suction and discharge manifolds and piping including new check and hand valves. Provide two enclosed variable frequency drive pump motor controllers with remote lead lag alternate control box. 3. Contractor is to install all material and equipment and provide testing to assure the system works as required. 4. See quantity list for all material, equipment, and quantities required by the City. The contractor is to supply the equipment listed, or its equivalent with City approval. 5. Contractor is required to follow all of OSHA safety rules and regulations for the duration of the project. 6. Contractor is to perform all site restoration to the satisfactory of the City. 7. This is to be a Lump Sum Project. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of not less than five per centum (5%) of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided for in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of not less than 100% of the total amount of the accepted bid and in such form and having as surety thereon such surety company or companies as are approved by the City Council. Insurance carrier must have principal office in New York State or be authorized to do business in New York State. The City Council reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids.
