Job Order Contract for Slurry & Paving Services The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount of $1,000,000 and a Payment Bond in the amount of $1,000,000, said bonds to be first approved by the County Counsel and the Risk Manager of Orange County. Bond forms to be provide by County of Orange. A ten percent (10%) bid security by certified or cashier's check from a responsible bank, cash or an original bidder's bond issued and executed by an admitted surety insurer authorized to transact surety insurance in California, made payable to the order of the County of Orange in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract if it is awarded to the bidder. In the event the bidder to which the Contract is awarded fails to provide bonds and insurance and meet other preconditions to the County's execution of the Contract in a timely manner, the proceeds of the check or cash or the full sum of the bidder's bond will be forfeited to the County. January 3, 2025 - Invitation for Bid Released to Pre-qualified Bidders The County Has Determined That Contractor's of Specific Trade; License Class-c-12 Shall Be Required to Participate in a Pre-qualification Process and Become Pre-qualified to Be Eligible to Participate in the Bidding Process. Contractor's Will Be Notified via Open gov, if They Are Eligible to Submit a Bid Proposal. The Pre-qualification Questionnaire is Included in This Notification. Bidders That Are Interested in This Project Shall Fill Out the Questionnaire Documents and Submit Them Electronically. Please Upload Any Additional Documentation and Submit Electronically Along With the Pre-qualification Questionnaire. Paper, Fax, and Email Submittals Will Not Be Accepted. Summary Oc Public Works is Soliciting a Pre-qualification From Interested and Qualified Respondents for the Job Order Contract (Joc) for Slurry & Paving Services. All Questions Pertaining to This Pre-qualification Must Be Submitted to: Suchitra Vattyam, Oc Public Works/procurement Services, via the Open gov Website. Any County Response Relevant to This Pre-qualification Other Than Through or Approved by Oc Public Works/procurements Services is Unauthorized and Will Be Considered Invalid. Respondents Are Advised to Carefully Read the Requirements Prior to Submitting Their Pre-qualification. County Reserves the Right to Make Multiple Awards to Bidders for Services Requested in This Solicitation, at Its Sole Discretion, to Serve the Best Interests of the County. Contractor is Required to Pay Prevailing Wages for All Applicable Work Performed on County Property.
