Removal and Land Application/beneficial Reuse of Lime Residuals Sludge Lagoon E Bids will be based on the specifications included in the contract documents. The form of proposal shall not be changed and each bidder shall furnish all information called for in the proposal and specifications. The work for which proposals are invited includes Removal and Land Application/Beneficial Reuse of Lime Residuals from Sludge Lagoon E, which, together with the Water Purification Plant, are located in Weathersfield Township, Trumbull County, Ohio. It is estimated that the amount of lime residuals to be removed and land applied or reused from the Bid for Lagoon E is estimated at 30,888 cubic yards. Please note the final volume will be based on MVSD survey conducted by an independent surveyor. It will not be based on number of trucks loads hauled. A performance bond is required based on the total amount for which the Contract is awarded. Each bid shall be accompanied by either a bid bond or a certified check on a solvent bank in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the base bid. The contractor shall solely be responsible to be in compliance with the District's Sludge Management Plan from the Ohio EPA General Permit BUGPDWTM002 and to provide all information required as part of this program as designated with the Contract Specifications. The foregoing compliance will be at the Contractor's expense. The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in any bid, and to award the contract as the best interests of the District may require.
