Scope of architectural work includes remodeling of the media center and surrounding support spaces, including remodeling an adjacent classroom into a Maker Space, and remodeling of the entry areas in the corridors outside the media center. Two other classrooms will be remodeled into Flex Rooms. Other work includes additional walls/doors being added for security compartmentalization of the building, and installation of safety glazing film on some exterior windows and doors. Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical work supports Architectural work. Also included in the scope is an outdoor classroom area. Scope of work in the outdoor classroom includes concrete and colored concrete sidewalks/areas, benching, and landscaping, water feature, associated grading and site drainage, electrical site lighting, power, and security, and shade sails and some pathway material by alternate.
