Site work and paving for a civil project in Norfolk, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: 1. Select demolition activities at the existing treatment facility that include: removing existing 42" sanitary sewer, removing and replacing existing fence, and pavement removal. 2. Construction Activities include providing all necessary materials, labor, equipment, and testing for the installation and/or construction of improvements to the following: a. Installation of new 10,000 gpm screw pump lift station and building with slide gates and sump pump, b. Grading and installation of flood berm, access road, and storm water detention basin. This includes over excavation of old landfill under portion of berm and detention basin and replacement with suitable materials. c. Project work shall include all required spare parts as listed in the specifications or as recommended by the manufacturer. 3. SWPPP, Floodplain development, Fire Marshal, and other permitting implementation. 4. All work complete with bypass pumping, connections to existing structures, paved or aggregate roadways, site grading, erosion control, seeding, mechanical/electrical/control components, demolition/modification, and other items of miscellaneous work which are either shown on the plans or in the Contract Documents to complete the Work. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to City of Norfolk, as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance. The City of Norfolk reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous to the Owner, and to reject any or all bids submitted and to hold as many bids as it desires for consideration for a period of sixty days after the bids are open.
