Site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Norfolk, Nebraska. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a transportation facility.

As of March 27, 2025 the project. has been cancelled. An initial Notice-to-Proceed was anticipated in early-summer 2025 with fall 2026 substantial completion. Site Address: 4100 South 13th Street City: Norfolk County: Madison State/Province: NE Construction of a hangar and office building at the Norfolk Regional Airport (OFK). Program includes passenger lobby, tenant lease space, pilot's lounge, conference room, restrooms, kitchenette, break room, offices, aircraft storage hangar, and support spaces. Site improvements include airside aircraft parking apron improvements, landside parking lot, airport perimeter fence relocation, slide cantilever gate with gate operator and access control, site utilities, and stormwater management. Submit Bid Security with Bid Form in form and amount indicated in Section 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders. Est. Completion Date: Oct. 23, 2026 Based on the information provided by HDR, construction will consist of a new approximately 12,000 ft2 single-story, slab-on-grade, pre-engineered metal building with a 6,000 ft2 two story, slab on grade wood/timber framed terminal building. New hard surfaced parking is planned to the south ofthe new hanger building and east ofthe new terminal building. Maximum structural foundation loads were not provided, however, based on Mid-State's experience with this size ofstructure and construction, anticipated maximum structural loads are expected to be on the order of 3 klffor walls and 50 kips for isolated columns, if any. It is expected the building site will be slightly elevated along the south and east sides ofthe area of construction approximately 18 inches to match the existing grades ofthe buildings and airport concrete in addition to providing positive drainage away from the new structures and parking.
