Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Norfolk, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.

The project is referred to as "Madison Northwest, C-59(792)" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required for the construction of a two span 60'-8 1/2" precast concrete deck slab bridge on a 0-degree skew with 28' clear roadway, channel shaping, roadway grading and other related incidental work. Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Madison County Treasurer, Madison County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the total Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to provide a Start of Construction date and End of Construction date with its Bid Proposal. The desired completion date is October 1, 2025. The successful bidder (i.e. Contractor) will be allowed sixty (60) calendar days. The completion date will be the earlier of the date indicated in the bid proposal or the actual start date plus the allotted calendar days. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the engineer. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond on bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to acceptance by the Madison County Board of Commissioners. The Madison County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received.
