Site work for a water / sewer project in Norfolk, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Furnish all labor, materials, use of contractor'sequipment, plant, and all elsenecessary to properly construct all ofthe improvements for Water and Sewer Improvements2025-1 project Water District No. 130 (37th Street),Water District No. 132 (Mach 1 Dr), Water Improvements at 29th Streetand Koenigstein Sewer District No. 256 (37th Street),and Sewer District No. 257 (Mach 1Dr) Bidders tofurnish said labor, materials, andequipment broken down to accuratelyreflect unit prices for all estimatedquantities. This project consists of: Furnishingand installing approximately 3883 LFof 12" Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP)watermain, 797 LF of 8" Ductile IronPipe (DIP) watermain, 1622 LF 8" PVCSanitary Sewer main, and 5 48"Manholes, all the necessaryappurtenances; traffic control, erosioncontrol; seeding, mulching. All work called for in the plans andspecifications shall be furnished instrict accordance with the plans andspecifications prepared by the McLauryEngineering for the Engineering of thePublic Works Department of the City ofNorfolk, and bids will be received onlyupon the forms furnished by the City. Each bid must be accompanied by abid bond or certified check on a bankwhose deposits are insured by theFederal Deposit Insurance Corporationin the amount of 5% of the total bidprice and must be payable withoutcondition to the Treasurer, City of Norfolk, Nebraska, as evidence of goodfaith of the bidder and as agreedliquidated damages in case the bidderwhose proposal is accepted by the Cityof Norfolk fails to enter into contractwithin ten (10) days from the Notice ofthe Award or fails to furnish acceptablebond to complete the work and pay forall labor and materials used, said bondto be in the amount of 100% of thetotal bid price. The bid security (i.e. bid bond orcertified check) as outlined in Articles Iand III of these specifications shall besubmitted in a separate envelopealong with the proposal.
