Project Location: Columbia, SC Rehab of ~4520 LF of 18" sewer via CIPP pipe lining along Little Jackson Creek. Additional 8" to 18" sewer rehab may be added as funding allows. Includes accessing sewers & manholes; bypass pumping; cleaning & TV; CIPP lining; rehab of ~22 manholes & cementitious coating, rebuilding benches & inverts, replacing frames & covers; site restoration. Project will be partially funded by a SC Infrastructure Investment Program (SCIIP) grant. Work includes accessing the sewers and manholes to perform the work; bypass pumping flows during the work; cleaning and televising sewers prior to rehabilitation; installation of CIPP; performing manhole rehabilitation work including coating manholes with specialized cementitious mortar, rebuilding benches and inverts, replacing frames and covers, and various other work; and other miscellaneous work including restoration. Contractors submitting a Bid on this project must be qualified under provisions of the Contractor's Licensing Law (1976 Code, Sections 4-11-10, et. seq). Bidders must show classification and contractor's license number on the outside of bid envelope. TYPE OF BID: Bid shall be on a firm unit price for each of the Bid Items identified on the Bid Form.
