Construction- Pipeline Reconstruction in Region 4 of Forest Service Salmon-Challis National Forest Between $25,000 and $100,000. PROJECT LOCATIONS A. The project is located on the Leadore Ranger District of the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Lemhi County, Idaho. Access to the area is via Forest Service roads 350 and 427 on the Leadore Ranger District. Off-road/non-system route travel will be required to get to some areas of the pipeline. Authorization of cross-country travel where appropriate will be designated by the COR and will also be dependent on weather that may limit use due to potential resource damage. This project includes the installation of approximately 7,500 feet of buried 1-1/4" HDPE nonpotable water line. Work also includes the removal and disposal of all existing waterline and associated connections. The pipeline serves water from a spring source to three rangeland water troughs on Forest Service owned property. Final location and routing of pipeline will be flagged and determined onsite with Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
