West Park Restroom. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements. The project is generally described as follows: Project consists of site work and installation of a pre-manufactured concrete restroom. This contract will include clear and grub, demolition of existing trash enclosure (concrete block, gate and pad), sawcut/demolition of existing asphalt pavement/ concrete pavement/concrete curb/gutter, strip and stockpile topsoil, chain link fence/slide gate demolition, aggregate base prep for future restroom, utility rough-ins for restroom, purchase and installation of CXT restroom, new concrete pavement/ curb/gutter/driveway approach, new chain link fence/cantilever slide gate, new concrete block trash enclosure, and landscape rock. Contractor will also relocate existing portable ticket booth. Owner will cap existing irrigation laterals, install topsoil, repair irrigation, and seed after this contract is completed. In determining the lowest responsive bid, the Owner will consider all acceptable bids on a basis consistent with the bid package. The Owner will also consider whether the bidder is a responsive bidder. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Nampa as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Nampa reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Nampa.
