SCOPE OF WORK The City of Delta is requesting bids from qualified contractors to install a detention pond located at 301 Highway 92 in Delta, CO. Plan pages are included in the bid pack. The work will include the excavation and removal of soil along with the construction of inlet and outlet structures. Question Deadline: December 16, 2024 at 4:00 pm. All questions regarding this IFB are to be emailed to davidhood@cityofdelta.net. Any questions received after the deadline will not be addressed. Written responses to questions will be posted on the City webpage via addendum no later than December 19, 2024, at 4:00 pm. The Work to be performed under this Contract shall be substantially complete by March 3, 2025 and completed and ready for final payment by April 17, 2025. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond shall be submitted by Contractor for all contracts in excess of $50,000 or if indicated in Article 6. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids without disclosing the reason, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous and in the best interest of the City.
