Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project shall consist of the Contractor furnishing all the tools, labor, equipment, and material necessary to excavate approximately 850 CY of material, removal of 2 concrete irrigation structures, install approximately 450 LF of Curb & Gutter, 150 SY of concrete sidewalk, 315 LF of 8" water line, 60 LF of 12" Storm Drain, 2 storm inlet structures, 1 irrigation structure, 2 irrigation manholes, 550 LF of 18" gravity irrigation pipe, 100 LF of 48" gravity irrigation pipe, 240 CY of aggregate base and subbase, 150 tons of plant mix pavement, 250 LF of pathway, create a new irrigation ditch, and any additional items specifically defined in the Bid Documents. There is one additive alternate bid with this project. Additive Alternate No. 1, if awarded, would add Excavation of approximately 2800 CY of material, removal of a hydrant, install approximately 700 LF of 8" water line, 1 water main access structure, 1 hydrant, 1 water service, 3000 CY of aggregate base and subbase, 200 tons of plant mix pavement, 650 LF of pathway, and any additional items specifically defined in the Bid Documents. bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Idaho Falls as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. *The City of Idaho Falls reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Idaho Falls.
