The bridge is owned and maintained by the City of Idaho Falls and is located between N 5th W and 5th E . This proposal is for the contractor to remove the existing two-span concrete bridge and replace it with a single span pre-stressed concrete voided slab bridge with reinforced concrete abutments. The road will be closed during construction and traffic will be detoured. Additional work includes road construction due to grade raise and permitted stream alterations including placing riprap.
