Site work and paving for a road / highway in Concordia, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
All Bidders are to be prequalified with the Kansas Department of Transportation, as outlined in Section 102 of the KDOT Standard Specifications or receive approval to bid the project from the owner. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified or Cashiers check in the amount of 5% of the total bid. Checks or bonds are to be made payable to Cloud County and serve as a guarantee of the sincerity and integrity of the bidder, and shall be forfeited to the County if said proposal or bid is accepted and the bidder fails to execute the contract and file the required statutory and performance bonds as required in the contract documents. Work will commence no sooner than March 24, 2025 (earliest start date) and no later than August 4, 2025 (late start date). All work shall be completed within 25 working days, with an additional 5 working days if add alternate pavement markings on 260th Road is awarded, after the Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 02/19/2025 Questions regarding bids shall be directed in writing to Jon Halbgewachs, jhalbgewachs@kirkham.com a minimum of two (2) calendar days prior to the date of the bid opening. Cloud County reserves the right to waive any and all technicalities and to reject any and all bids.
