Saving Project...

Renovation of a multi-residential development in Dover, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Strafford County is currently soliciting bids for the replacement of two different roofs in the county complex. You are welcome to bid on one or both projects. The first roof is the pitched and shingled roof of the Hyder Family Hospice House. The second is the flat roof of the William A. Grimes Justice and Administration Building (the County Courthouse) and is approximately 30,000 square feet. We are looking for a specific product for that roof. In such an event, the County may then assess liquidated damages cost of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays to the contractor, until completion (final acceptance), excluding warranty periods. Performance bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract sum will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of New Hampshire, have a Bests rating of A or better, and have a recommended bonds limits equal to or in excess of those required for this project; The Strafford County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids/ proposals, to award the bid to other than the lowest bidder if deemed bid most advantageous to the County and to waive any defects in bids.
