The scope of work consists of furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary to remove and replace a portion of asphalt pavement and place new slurry seal along the causeway at Kaunakakai Harbor, Molokai, Hawaii. The exact dates shall be provided by written notice from the Harbors Construction Engineer. COMPLETION TIME: ONE HUNDRED FIFTY (150) Calendar days from the date indicated in the Notice to Proceed from the Department. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: ONE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($150.00) for each and every calendar day which the Contractor has delayed the completion of this project. To be eligible for award, bidders shall possess a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering "A" or Specialty Contractor "C-3" license at the time of bidding. The estimated cost of construction is between $350,000 and $450,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
