The Project will involve furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment to install approximately 180 LF of 6-inch, 1,810 LF of 8-inch, 40 LF of 12-inch, and 2,060 LF of 16-inch water line and any appurtenances as necessary for completion of the work described within the plans and specifications. Work shall Substantially Complete within 150 calendar days from Notice to Proceed Date. Work shall be Final Complete within 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed Date. The last day for submission of questions shall be No Later Than Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 4:00pm EST. All Bidder's questions shall be made in writing and addressed to Jessica Lewert at JLewert@prime-eng.com. Answers to Bidder's Questions: Monday, December 30, 2024, 4:00 pm. A satisfactory Bid Bond (in the amount of 5% of the Bid Amount), executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety Company listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, shall accompany each Bid. The Owner reserves the right to: reject any or all Bids, waive any informality, evaluate Bids, and accept any Bid, which in their opinion, may be in their best interest. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, with a corporate surety licensed to do business in the State of Georgia, with a rating of not less than A- and approved by the OWNER and listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, with each Bond in the amount of 100% of any awarded Contract amount. Performance and Payment Bonds are NOT required to bid, however, shall be required after award.
