This specification is for work to be performed at the South Wellfield, which is a remote site of the Water Treatment Plant. See attachment A. This specifications are based on the removal of existing utility poles, transformers, wiring, and associated equipment/material and the installation of new utility poles, wiring, associated equipment/material, and existing transformers. The voltage on the aerial lines is 4160v and the low side voltage from the transformer is 480v. Transformers are filled with mineral oil with no detectable levels of PCB's. The electric motors being fed from the transformers are 75hp. All utility poles are to be moved a minimum of 40' towards the east to provide safe clearances for future work performed on our wells. At no additional costs to the City, all removed wire/cable shall be rolled up, secured, and returned to the owner and all removed utility poles shall be hauled away and disposed of by the contractor. The contractor shall perform all work and furnish all materials, supplies, tools, labor, and equipment specified, necessary, proper, and incidental to Work shown in these Detailed Specifications, or as directed by the City in accordance with the requirements thereof and any such additional work as may be required to remove, replace, and/or install utility poles, wiring, associated equipment/material, and existing transformers, and as set forth in the following Subsections.
