Renovation of a service station / car wash facility in Orlando, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a service station / car wash facility.
Orange County, Florida, henceforth referred to as the County is accepting sealed responses for Electrical Vehicle Charging Services (Y24-1023) Orange County exercises the rights and privileges conveyed to it by the State of Florida, and the Orange County Charter. It presently operates with an elected chief executive officer, Orange County Mayor, and six elected district commissioners, who together comprise the Board of County Commissioner Scope of Services The awarded Contractor shall: 1. Provide and installsix (6) Dual Port Level 2 Chargers with J1172 connectors at a minimum, capable of providing at least 6 kW per port simultaneously across all AC ports, with a minimum 18' retractable power charging cords in the following existing locations: a. Two (2) at OCCC West Concourse in front of Hall D in designated EV parking spaces b. Two (2) at OCCC South Concourse at West end by pedestrian bridge c. One (1) at OCCC North Concourse at West end at bus loop entrance d. One (1) at OCCC North Parking lot 2. Own, operate, maintain and be responsible for all maintenance and utility costs for the contract term. a. Guarantee an average annual uptime of 97% or better uptime for stations. 3. Collect all revenue from charging stations in accordance with local ordinances and agreement with Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) guidelines from the date of activation through the contract term. 4. The percentage from the revenue collected for electricity usage per charge shall be paid quarterly by the contractor to the OCCC at the rate in the fee schedule. Payment shall be made by the end of the month every three months following contract execution. 5. During the contract term, share all consumption and revenue data with OCCC on a monthly basis and a summary report at one (1) year end for the purpose of one of the following options: a. Purchase option and ownership of installed charging stations, network connectivity and point of sale interface after end of lease. b. Lease option of five (5) years with optional renewal for three (3) additional years with an annual payment to include the following: i. Network Connectivity subscription for all EV Stations with exclusive rights (no provider access) to Point of Sale portal. ii. Provide training for OCCC employees designated by management to operate Point of Sale portal. iii. Provide annual inspections and preventative maintenance. (Catastrophic vehicle damage or wanton vandalism requiring full replacement not covered by maintenance agreement) iv. service response time of 4 hours after notification of downtime for repairs of all units. 1. Guarantee an average annual uptime of 97% or better uptime for stations. v. Provide extended warranty coverage outside of manufacturer's warranty for the term of lease contract. vi. Release all Renewable Energy Credit for EVCS to OCCC Bid Open - The physical meeting location is 400 E. South Street, 2nd Floor, Orlando, Florida 32801 Procurement is an essential function of the County, affecting all operational departments, ongoing projects and future initiatives. The Procurement Division is divided into three (3) Sections, the "Buying Section", the "Purchasing Section" and the "Contracts Section". The Orange County Procurement Division operates under the leadership of Carrie Mathes, MPA, NIGP-CPP, CFCM, CPPO, CPPB as Procurement Division Manager and Chief Procurement Official in accordance with the Orange County Ordinance.
