The bid proposal includes two bid schedules. Contractors may bid either or both schedules. Schedule A is for stabilizing approximately one third of the base and installing a two course seal coat and various other items. Schedule B is for stabilizing the entire length of the project. The county forces will prime and install the asphalt surface after schedule B is complete. The county may award a contract based on either schedule. All construction for this project shall be performed in accordance with the Texas Department of Transportation 2014 Standard Specifications for Construction and Maintenance of Highways, Streets, and Bridges, except as modified in Technical Specification Section G2- Reference to Texas Department of Transportation Standard Specifications.
