**Per Addendum 1 the bid date has been extended from 01/14/25 to 01/22/25** **The owner has requested that those who are interested in bidding let procurements@hacov.org know of their interest** The Housing Authority of Covington is seeking the services of a qualified General Contractor/ Construction Company to restore the Building Envelope of Golden Tower, 50 E. 11th Street, Covington Kentucky 41011 a 1972, 16-story senior high rise with a basement. The work entails painting, caulking, tuckpointing, flashing, and window cleaning in accordance with the attached documents. Each bidder shall be responsible for researching the existing conditions and matters that affect the cost and performance ofthe services. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, etc. to perform all duties properly and expeditiously as outlined in this Invitation to Bid. The bid should also include costs for bonds, insurance, testing, general conditions, overhead and profit. The contractor/subcontractor shall be a qualified painter to perform the job and all activities in compliance with established industry practices and in a manner to produce finished work of quality, appearance, and durability. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, and labor for the preparation and painting of exterior walls, doors, etc. Paint materials are to be applied without runs, sags or cracking by hand with a roller or paint brush for the building face and not a sprayer. The building is 146'-8" long x 50'-8" wide. The overall building height from the first floor to the top ofthe parapet wall is 146'-6". The basement and first floors are 12'-0" high floor to floor and the subsequent floors are 8'-8". The penthouse is 19'-0" long and 14'-3" wide. The height ofthe penthouse is approximately 16'-10" with 8'-10" high concrete walls and 8'-0" concrete masonry units.
