Forcina Hall Audio/Visual Systems Project The project will be bid as a Single Lump Sum. No bidder may submit more than one bid. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975 c. 127 (N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 - Affirmative Action); the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.; N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, "Statement of Ownership Disclosure"; the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq.); the New Jersey Business Registration of Public Contractors provisions (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44) and all amendments thereto. A bid guarantee is required in the amount of 10% of the total bid. Bid guarantee shall consist of a certified check or cashier's check to the order of The College of New Jersey, or an individual or annual bid bond issued by an insurance company or surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The successful Bidder(s) is required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract. A Surety Disclosure Statement and Certification form must accompany the performance bond. The College will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder who satisfies the qualification criteria as set forth in the contract documents. The College of New Jersey reserves the right to reject all bids or to waive any minor informalities in the bidding in accordance with law. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of The College of New Jersey. The College requires that its contractors/vendors agree to take all necessary and responsible steps, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:32-17 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:13-1 et seq. to ensure that SBE's have these opportunities, as an aid in meeting the commitment of its SBE Programs and to ensure that DVOBs have these opportunities per N.J.S.A. 52:32-31.1 et seq. (P.L. 2015, c. 116) in meeting the commitment of its DVOB Programs.
