PROJECT NO. 1: BIOSWALES Located at: Area Bounded by: W. Congress St., N. 84th St., W. Marion St. and N. 87th St. Time for Completion: All work excluding maintenance plan shall be completed by June 16, 2025. All work shall be continuous and the number of allowable work days is 40 days. The maintenance plan period shall be one (1) year from the date of completion. All work under Plants Maintenance and Warranty must be completed by June 16, 2026. Liquidated Damages, per diem: $ 230 The residency requirement for this project is 40% of all hours worked on the project. The SBE requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of the Contractor's Base Bid. The original bid bond document must then be submitted by the contractor to the Department of Public Works Contract Office in-person or by mail to 841 N Broadway, Rm. 506, Milwaukee, WI 53202, within 24 hours upon being notified that they are the apparent low bidder.
