The Village of Pleasantville is seeking to execute an Agreement for a Public Works Contract with a licensed Electrical Contractor for on-call (i.e. requested and/or emergency) electrical services from approximately January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025. This Contract includes two (2) potential (1) year contract extensions subject to approval between the Village and Contractor. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder, addressed to Village Clerk, Village of Pleasantville, 80 Wheeler Avenue, Pleasantville, New York 10570 and labeled "for VOP Contract No. 2024-08 "On-Call Electrical Services (Various Locations)". As a Bid security, each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount of the base Bid, payable to the Village of Pleasantville. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds from an acceptable surety company in the form annexed hereto in the total amount of the Contract. The Village of Pleasantville reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality in any Bid, and to award the contract to other than the lowest Bidder if deemed in the best interest of the Village to do so.
