We reserve the right to purchase items on the open market and deduct any additional cost involved from payments due the supplier if he fails, except for circumstances beyond his control, to fulfill contract requirements. Weber School District is in the process of constructing a new elementary school and desires to have a video wall installed on the interior of the school. The district is soliciting a request for quotes to have a vendor provide product and installation and all costs associated. All power and cable has been pulled to the interior connection. Include a control system compatible with the video panel brand. The following items are per plan specs: - Roosevelt Elem 190 W. 5100 S., Ogden Utah - Video panels dimensions 11'-7" X 6'-6" - Minimum of 3 Pixel Pitch - Minimum of 2 HDMI inputs - Video controller will be in a closet. Ethernet will be installed from the video wall to the closet by the builder. - Power and Cat6 ethernet cable will be stubbed to the video wall location by the builder. - Scissor lift will not be provided by the school or builder. - Wall mounting material - Sheetrock with plywood backing. -Vendor to provide trim kit around the video wall frame so you don't see the components.. - No scoring software required. - 3 Year Parts warranty is desired, if possible. -1 Year Labor warranty, minimum. -No protective cover required. - See attached diagram with the height of the wall and the panel dimensions. - Please provide an itemized list of parts, quantity of items, description of items, cost per item and line item subtotals so that the evaluation committee can determine the best value for the district. - Supplier shall provide the District with a point of contact for the duration of the contract to work with assigned District staff. That individual will have the authority to act for the Supplier in the administration of the contract. District will provide to Supplier a list of those District staff members who are authorized to designate devices to be removed by supplier.
