Reference Number 0000370382 Job Location: 4700 E Belleview Ave Greenwood Village, Colorado United States 80121 Greenwood Village requires that one aquifer water supply well (the "KA-1 Well") be constructed on their property at 4700 E Belleview Ave, Greenwood Village, CO 80121 located in the SE1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 18 in Township 5 South, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M., County, Colorado (UTM Zone 13 Coordinates, Easting: 505595 Northing: 4385611). The KA-1 Well is to be constructed in the aquifer to an estimated depth of 1,272 feet. The well shall be drilled to the bottom of the aquifer and then completed as a production well. Samples of the materials encountered during drilling will be collected and washed at ten-foot intervals to a depth of 720 feet and at 5-foot intervals or as otherwise directed by Consultant below a depth of 720 feet. Geophysical logs consisting of spontaneous potential, long and short normal resistivity, caliper, density porosity, and gamma ray logs will be obtained from the drill hole. Information from the drill hole samples and geophysical logs will be used to prepare the final design of the production well. The well shall be completed with steel casing and stainless-steel screen placed opposite sand zones. The screen may be preordered. The Contractor shall work on a 24-hour basis during drilling and well completion, including well development. For the Drilling, Construction, and Testing for Aquifer KA-1 Well. The well will be located in the Marjorie Perry Nature Preserve located at 4700 E Belleview Ave, Greenwood Village, CO 80121, generally in Section 18, Township 5 South, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M., as presented in Figure 1. The well will be completed in the aquifer under a permit to be issued by the Division of Water Resources (Receipt No. 10039733). Work on this project is anticipated to commence no later than March 1, 2025 and proceed on a 24-hour basis during drilling and well completion. The project shall be substantially complete within 45 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued and finally complete within 60 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The bid and the deposit shall be filed with the City's Office, securely sealed and endorsed on the outside with a brief statement as to the nature of the item or work for which the bid is provided. Upon a bid award, such bond shall be returned to the unsuccessful bidder(s). In the case of the successful bidder, the bid bond will be returned upon receipt of the required payment and performance bonds, each in the full amount of the contract price. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for opening thereof. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to make final determination in the event of duplications.
