Palm Beach County will soon be soliciting proposals from experienced and capable parties for the design, permitting, construction, operation, and maintenance of an Off-Highway Vehicle Park ("OHV Park"), a Racetrack Park ("Racetrack"), or a combination thereof (referred throughout this RFP as the "Facility"), upon the undeveloped portion of the County-owned 20 Mile Bend property, located at 20 Mile Bend Boat Ramp Road, Loxahatchee, Florida. The Board of County Commissioners may accept or reject any or all proposals for any reason whatsoever in its sole discretion. The awarded respondent shall be required to provide, at a minimum, the financing, design, permitting, construction, operation, and maintenance of the Facility and related services which may include amenities such as: all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and motor cross tracks and trails, utility type vehicle (UTV) trails, beginner tracks, development of an interconnected trail system within the Leased Area consisting of various levels of terrain suitable for all riders, a drag strip, racecar circuit, road course, go-kart track, and ancillary facilities.
