Renovation of a detention facility in Okanogan, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Work of the Project includes alteration the geothermal heating and cooling system in the Detention Center, including the replacement of three failed water-to-water heat pumps and the addition of a heat exchanger with associated piping, pumps, other equipment, electrical, controls integration, and commissioning of the system. Bids must be completed on a lump sum basis as indicated on the BID FORM. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, minor defects, or to reject any or all bids. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount equal to five (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the same time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Okanogan County. Availability of Bidding Documents. Information presented at the pre-Bid conference does not alter the Contract Documents. Owner will issue Addenda to make any changes to the Contract Documents that result from discussions at the pre-Bid conference. Information presented, and statements made at the pre-bid conference will not be binding or legally effective unless incorporated in an Addendum. All work performed on this project will be subject to the state prevailing wage rates and the work will be performed in Okanogan County. Financing of the Project has been provided by Okanogan County. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
