The Town of West Hartford is seeking a contractor for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies to install new Modernfold Acousti-Seal 933E Continuously Hinged Electric Operable Wall in existing opening per the attached scope of work. This includes the removal of the current wall divider. This project is located at the King Philip Middle School, West Hartford, 100 King Philip Drive, 06117. The intent of this project is to have a complete and operating wall system. This project is located at the King Philip Middle School, West Hartford, 100 King Philip Drive, 06117. The intent ofthis project is to have a complete and operating wall system The Scope ofWork will consist of but not limited to the following installation: 1. Demolition: Remove and dispose of old wall and all associated parts.2. Current wall is approx. 72'-3.5" wide and 21 '-3.5" high. Contractor will be responsible for field measurements. SCOPE OF WORK Gymnasium Wall Divider Replacement 3. Provide and install a Modemfold Acousti-Seal 933E Continuously Hinged Electric Operable Wall including STC: 50 (51 +/-1) per ASTM E98 independent acoustic laboratory test; Skins: MDF Board; Finish: Standard Vinyl; Bottom Seals: Floating; Closure: Side Seal; Suspension: #14 Bracket Mounted - all steel, with steel prefinished removable soffit; Suspension Option: 208-volt, 3 phase, 1 horsepower, 60 hertz motor. 5. All Federal, State and Local Codes must be maintained. 6. Supply all necessary submittals/information required by the facilities department, building department or FM Global. 4. Contractor to provide all necessary electrical wiring including wall controls; may need new breaker, wires, and disconnects. Can use existing conduit. Contractor is responsible for obtaining building permits. Building Permit Fees by the town are waived with awarded contract.
