Gym Flooring Replacement at King Philip Middle School Bid date notes All participants must submit both. The Town has provided a fillable .pdf of the bid forms. Hard copy bid forms must match electronic submission, the Town maintains the right to reject any bid that does not meet this criteria. Hard copies bid forms are to be received in the purchasing They can be mailed or delivered. In order to provide an electronic submission you must be registered in our online. Please see the vendor registration instructions. Once registered, you will gain access to the bid and the bid documents. Please follow the prompts when submitting your price structures. All Bidders must file with their bid a bid bond, certified or treasurer's check in the amount of 10% of the total of the base bid made payable to the Town of West Hartford. Performance and Labor and Material Payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder if the contract pursuant to this request for bids exceeds $50,000.00. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening of bids without the approval and written consent of the Town of West Hartford. All questions must be submitted in writing and e-mailed to the Purchasing Office to Rick.Hyman@WestHartfordCT.gov or faxed to 860-561-7492 prior to the established timeline for questions per these bidding documents. Please do not call the Engineer/ Architect, Project Manager or Purchasing Office with questions. The Town of West Hartford is seeking a contractor to supply all labor, materials, equipment, services, insurance (with specific coverage for work on PCB), and incidentals which are necessary or required to perform the work in accordance with applicable governmental regulations and these specifications for the removal and disposal of existing presumed PCB containing slab vapor barrier materials associated with the Gym floor slab in King Phillip Middle School - see Drawing F-1 for material types and locations. Disposal of removed floor sleepers and slab vapor barrier as presumed PCB-containing bulk product waste. Dispose of removed Gym wood flooring as construction debris. Supply and install sheet wood athletic flooring in the Gym of King Phillip Middle School as shown on Drawing F1. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding and to make awards in any manner that is the most beneficial to the Town.
