The awarded bidder is Gerber Construction, Inc. in the amount of $9,547,008.25. The Town plans to revitalize the aging infrastructure in West Hartford Center through a comprehensive reconstruction of LaSalle Road from Farmington Avenue to Ellsworth Road and Farmington Avenue from North/South Main Street to Walden Street. The work will include roadway resurfacing, new granite curbing, widened concrete sidewalks, decorative street lighting, traffic signal modifications, landscaping with engineered tree pits, raised crosswalks, and site furniture/amenities.
