The work, located at the Neal Road Recycling and Waste Facility in Butte County, in general consists of installation of vertical gas collection and soil vapor extraction wells, associated wellheads, headers and laterals, piping connections, valving, and pipe supports, all in conformance with the California Department of Transportation 2018 Standard Specifications, and these Special Provisions, unless specified herein. All work shall include furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans, as described in the Special Provisions, or as directed by the Engineer. The engineer's estimate is $230,630. Contract items of work and quantities thereof for which payment will be made under this contract are contained in the proposal. The items of work and quantities are given as a basis for the comparison of bids and the County of Butte does not, expressly or by implication, agree that the actual amount of work will correspond therewith, but reserves the right to increase or decrease the amount of any class or portion of the work, or to omit portions of the work, as may be deemed necessary or advisable by the Engineer. All Requests for Information inquiries shall be submitted prior to 7 calendar days of the bid opening date. All questions, inquiries, or any other communication relating to this project shall be asked through Public Purchase. Question Deadline 01/10/2025 The County of Butte reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid.
