Princeville Historical Museum Repair Questions about the RFP are to be submitted in writing, electronically to Alexis Carter acarter@townofprinceville.com by written correspondence, Attn: Alexis Carter, Assistant Town Manager. Questions must be received by January 14th, 2025. Responses to questions will be posted on the Towns website at www.townofprinceville.com. The repair work will include the repair of the following rooms: 1. Main Corridor: 34' 9 x 9' 2. Vestibule: 6'6" x 9' 3. Room 1; 21'3" x 11'x5" 4. Room 8: 15'1" x 8'3" 5. Kitchen 15'5" x 8'8" 6. Mech. Room: 15'5" x 6'5" 7. Hallway1: 6'2" x 39'10" 8. Hallway 2; 3'8" x 15'5" 9. Men bathroom: 14'6" x 9'7" 10. Women bathroom: 14'6" x 9'6" 11. Room 2- 20'1" x 14'4" 12. Room 3; 2'9" x6'5" located in in room 13. Room 12: 36'4" x 19'7" 14. Room 13: 20'2" x 33'11". Scope of Work: The Town of Princeville intends to utilize a contractor to repair the Princeville Museum building located at on 310 Mutual Bld. Princeville, NC and bring it back to pre-disaster footprint, design and function. Work will be conducted throughout the (67'9" X 40'9") historical Museum. The work will include using the salvage oak flooring and purchasing an in kind flooring when additional flooring is needed. The work includes restoring all damage items back with in kind material and when/ if material is not available the contractor will work with the Town of Princeville to contract the historical department, state and federal to insure material meets the required historical requirements. The repair work will include the repair of the following rooms SERVICES REQUIRED. The storms cause damage to the (67'9" X 40'9") Princeville Museum building, built in 1935. The building is a wood framed building with wood siding, drywall walls and wood flooring. The building is a historical building located 310 Mutual Bld. Princeville, NC; (GPS: 35.890133 /-77.526613). The damage occurred within the following rooms: 1. Main Corridor: (34' 9 x 9') 2. Vestibule: (6'6" x 9'); Room 1; (21'3" x 11'x5") 3. Room 8: (15'1" x 8'3") 4. Kitchen (15'5" x 8'8") 5. Mech. Room: (15'5" x 6'5") 6. Hallway1: (6'2" x 39'10") 7. Hallway 2; (3'8" x 15'5"); 8. Men bathroom: (14'6" x 9'7"): 9. Women bathroom: (14'6" x 9'6") 10. Room 2 (20'1" x 14'4") 11. Room 3; (2'9" x6'5") located in in room 2 12. Room 12: (36'4" x 19'7") 13. Room 13: (20'2" x 33'11"). The damage includes the following items throughout the rooms: 1. 3147 SF of Oak flooring 2. 6000 SF of R15 insulation 3. 3745SF of 1/2 " drywall 4. 18LF of wood interior door trim 5. 684LF of 8" wood base board molding 6. 476LF of wood 1" x4" trim 7. 104 Outlets 8. 842SF of 15# felt vapor barrier 9. 684LF of Quarter Round 3/4 " x 3/4 " 10. This Request for Proposal (RFP) provides complete information on the services being sought, the submittal requirements and timeline. qualified companies, interested in providing repairs to our historical museum in accordance with the specified specifications listed within the bid document. The Town of Princeville will follow a Qualifications Based Selection process as required by North Carolina General Statutes.
