Demolition, site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Princeville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a two-unit multi-residential development; and two-unit multi-residential development.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the demolition/clearance of two houses and the provision/installation of two State Building Code modular houses. The Town expects demolition and clearance work to be completed within 45 days from the Notice to Proceed. Evidence of insurance is required before any work begins. The selection of the contractor will be based on the lowest responsible proposal. All federal CDBG requirements will apply, including compliance with Section 109, E.O. 11246, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, E-Verify Regulations, and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. The project strongly encourages participation from small, minority, and/or women-owned businesses, Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB), and Section 3 businesses. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids. Proposals can be submitted before the bid opening and may be examined and obtained at specified locations.
