For: Boiler Replacement at Alexandria Senior High School (BID NO. 62-25-04) After stamping to acknowledge timely receipt, the bids will be publicly opened and read by the Executive Committee and/or staff of the Rapides Parish School Board. Sole responsibility for proper delivery of bid is that of the bidder. Any offer received after closing time (11:00 AM, Thursday, January 16, 2025) will be returned unopened. All bids must be accompanied by an original bid security equal to five (5%) of the total amount bid and must be in the form of a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, Bank Money Order or Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in the State of Louisiana. Subject to the provisions of R.S. 38:2211, et seq., the Rapides Parish School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Each bidder, shall submit with their bid satisfactory evidence that they have complied with the requirements of the LA Contractor's Licensing Law, Louisiana R.S. 37:2150, et seq., and are fully qualified to enter into contract with the Rapides Parish School Board. Contractor shall disconnect, remove and properly dispose of existing defective Aercoboiler #2thatisbeingreplaced and/or recycle same in accordance with federal, state, and local rules, regulations, andstatutes(e.g.spoilage becomes property and responsibility contractor). 3. Contractor shall supply and install (1) OEM Replacement Aerco Boiler Model Number BMK2000. AnyReplacement Boiler other than OEM Replacement Model Aerco Boiler MUSTbe pre-approvedandwillberequired to meet the specifications below: A. 439 Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger with Single Inlet B. Fault Mode Diagnostic Panel with Digital Readout C. Gas Train in Accordance with CSD-1 D. 15:1 Modulating Air/Fuel Valve E. Ability to Communicate with other Aerco "Edge" Controllers thru AercoBMSNetwork4. Contractor shall verify existing conditions and dimensions prior to submitting a bid. Dimensionsmustbefield verified prior to submitting a bid. 5. Contractor shall perform all work in compliance with all applicable local, state, andnational codesandordinances. 6. Contractor shall install products and materials per manufacturer's requirements andrecommendations.7. Contractor shall be verified to be approved, authorized and/or licensed to install manufacturer'sproduct.8. Contractor shall reconnect boiler to existing electrical and hot water piping. Any andall modificationsmustbe included. 9. Contractor shall provide all required permits. 10. Contractor shall legally dispose of all trash, debris, and waste materials offsite and/or recyclesameinaccordance with federal, state, and local rules, regulations, and statutes (e.g. spoilage becomespropertyandresponsibility of contractor). 11. Contractor shall clean the work site and surrounding areas impacted by constructionoperationstopre-workconditions or better. 12. Contractor shall include 1 year full contractor's warranty, as well as applicable manufacturer'swarranties.13. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, hardware, accessories, andincidentalsasnecessaryfor a complete and fully functional system. 14. The owner has no intention that any of this work should disturb asbestos containing materials or that anynewmaterials should contain asbestos. The contractor shall review the Asbestos Management Planfor thisfacilityprior to commencing work. 15. All personnel connected to this work shall dress and behave in a positive manner appropriatefor aRPSBfacility.Negative conditions such as loud music, smoking, weapons, offensive language, or inappropriatecontactwithstudents or staff are strictly prohibited.
