The timeline for award has not yet been established.** The goal of this project is to conserve, restore, and repair of approximately 81 headstones of varying conditions in the Newtown Cemetery, returning them to sound functioning condition with the least alteration to their historic appearance. All work should conform to the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for Preservation, which are listed below along with a list of types of damage and the proposed conservation treatment and documentation Requirements The Town of Nantucket, through its Department of Public Works, seeks qualified bidders to submit applications for the conservation, repair and restoration of approximately eighty-one (81) headstones of varying conditions in the Newtown Cemetery, returning them to sound functioning condition with the least alteration to their historic appearance. Question Submission Deadline December 20, 2024, 2:00pm The Town of Nantucket, through its Department of Public Works, seeks qualified bidders to submit proposals for the conservation, repair, and restoration of approximately 81 headstones in the Newtown Cemetery. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
