2024 Parishwide Striping Contractor must provide all adequate and competent labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to provide and install thermoplastic striping as specified along the following Parish roads: o Caroline St (R04E234) Section 38 Township 8S Range 11E, Mandeville; o Destin St (R04E242) Section 38 Township 8S Range11E, Mandeville; o Dupard St (R04E143) Section 38 Township 8S Range 11E, Mandeville; o Evangeline Dr (R09E049) Section 11 Township 9S Range 13E; Slidell; o Fish Hatchery Rd (R07A001) Section 6 Township 8S Range 13E; Lacombe; o Labarre St (R04E126) Section 38 Township 8S Range11E, Mandeville; o McNamara St (R04E344) Section 38 Township 8S Range 11E; o Meadow Lake Subdivision Section 12 Township 9S Range 14E; Slidell; o Ninth Ave (R03L047) Section 11 Township 7S Range 11E; Covington; o Pruden Rd (R03D005) Section 25 Township 6S Range 11E; Covington; and o Tammany Trace Crosswalks (R11A001) various locations. Performance Bond For projects costing twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) or more, the successful Respondent shall be required to provide a performance (surety) bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project cost to insure the successful performance under the terms and conditions of the contract negotiated between the successful Respondent and the Parish. The contract shall not be in force or binding upon the Parish until such satisfactory bond has been provided to and approved by the Parish. The cost of the bond shall be paid by the Contractor. Licensing Required If the estimated cost of the work is $50k or more a Contractor licensed by the State to do the type of work indicated in Section 2.1 may submit a quote. The Respondent's signature on the quote certifies that he holds an active license under the provisions of Chapter 24 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes, Title 37. Failure to be properly licensed constitutes authority for the Parish to reject the quote. The Parish reserves the right to require a Contractor licensed for less than $50k depending on the requirements set forth in Section 2.1 and shall provide within 10 days after being notified of an Award.
