South Coreline Zone 1 Waldron St. Replacement for the purpose of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, and skill required for the construction of the South Coreline Zone 1 Waldron St. Replacement, and incidental items, for said Owner, as is more fully described and set forth in the Plans and Specifications which are on file at the office of the Engineer. Construction Estimate: $13M - $15M Description of Work: A general overview of the scope of work is as follows: OSRWSS Mni Wiconi South Coreline Zone 1 Waldron St. Replacement : Work generally consists of replacement of approximately 7,300 feet of 24-inch PVC Coreline water transmission pipe, approximately 2,700 feet of 12-inch PVC City watermain pipe, approximately 13,600 square yards of 7-inch thick portland cement street section, approximately 5,200 feet of concrete curb replacement, approximately 3,800 square yards of gravel road restoration, two trenchless waterline crossings of Highway 14, traffic control, temporary water service, and other items as fully described by the Contract Documents. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Forms provided and in accordance with the Bidding Documents. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed at the Owner, OSRWSS. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the amount of the bid in the form of a Bid Bond or in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid in the form of a cashier s check must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. Bid security of the three lowest Bidders will be retained until the contract has been awarded and executed, but not longer than sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening. The successful Bidder is responsible for payment of all required Tribal and State of South Dakota fees, sales tax, usage tax, and TERO fee as described in the contract documents. The successful Bidder is required to meet all requirements of the Bureau of Reclamation (BoR) Supplemental Provisions as described in the contact documents. Included in the BoR Supplemental Provisions are the requirements; of Executive Order 11375 regarding equal opportunity employment, requirements of the Davis-Bacon wage act, the buy American provisions of Section 501 of the Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act, and other requirements fully described in the contract documents. OWNER S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the Owner. No Bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 60 days after the bid opening. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
