At any given time, there may be road maintenance projects (Forest Service Roads and Non-Status Roads) active within the Chilliwack District. To assist in the delivery of these projects the Chilliwack District is seeking a qualified and experienced forest road expert to deliver services identified in this Request for Proposal. The proposal should understand that a collaborative and cooperative approach to the delivery of the Forest Districts engineering projects is essential to the continued success of the program. The ideal proponent will be committed to working with the Chilliwack District staff and its partners in pursuing the strategic goals and objectives of the organization. Duties will include but are not limited to: Forest Road inspections, prescriptions, and oversight of forest road maintenance projects, reporting results to ministry engineering standards and providing professional certification of final works. Forest road maintenance projects will be assigned to the proponent on an "as and when required" basis and are subject to available funding and workload priorities. The Ministry makes no guarantees of the amount of work that will be assigned to the successful bidder. Estimated Contract Duration (24 months)
