The Project includes the following Work: Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment required to install approximately 6,900 LF of 6" and 8" diameter water main and approximately 7,200 LF of 2" diameter forcemain and all appurtenances to serve the Litchfield IDOT Maintenance Facility. The project includes a sanitary lift station and two cased bores under railroad and IDOT R.O.W. as well as several small directional bores. The work shall be completed in accordance with the specifications and drawings covering the work. Bidders must secure their information as to the condition of the site and all local conditions affecting the work prior to submitting their proposals. Bidders are notified that the price bid must include everything as described in the specifications and shown on the drawings. No extra of any kind will be allowed unless ordered in writing by the Owner. Any contract awarded under this Invitation for Bids will require performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price. All questions shall be directed to John A. The OWNER may make such investigations as he deems necessary to determine the ability of the BIDDER to perform the WORK, and the BIDDER shall furnish to the OWNER all such information and data for this purpose as the OWNER may request. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any BID if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such BIDDER fails to satisfy the OWNER that such BIDDER is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Agreement and to complete the WORK contemplated therein.
