Site work and paving for a road / highway in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and 16,000-square-foot road / highway.
The Project consists of the milling of approximately 16,000 sf of the existing parking lot, repaving, and striping. A separate area of approximately 1,700 sf includes excavation of existing asphalt, regrading, rolled asphalt curbing and full depth pavement. Work includes performing all site work including any grading, asphalt paving, and E & S measures. a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100 %) of the Bid and in the form incorporated in the Bid Documents. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply to this project. The County reserves the right, at its option, to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities, defects, errors or omissions, irregularities in any or all bids if it is in the best interest of the County to do so and to award only to those whose proposal is deemed by the County to be most advantageous to the interest of the County. All contractors must be licensed to work in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Question Deadline 01/16/2025 at 1:00 PM ET All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing via online. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
