Renovation of a mixed-use development in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Complete Elevator modernization of the listed elevators. To include scope of work of the following: The total scope is for 8 total elevators to design, procure and order equipment in FY 2024 with construction and modernization occurring in 2025. This will be as follows: Stan Grad Elevator 28 – Represents an elevator that has a high YTD service call factor and downtime. East Hall Residence 34, 35, and 36: Encompassing all three elevators servicing this building impacting all students residing. Currently Elevator 36 has been out of order for over 1 year. All three elevators rank amongst the higher YTD downtime for service and repair. Begin Tower Elevators 43, 44, 45, and 46: 4 elevators servicing 23 floors and 720 residences living in this building. Currently Elevator 44 has been out of order for over 100 days in 2024, with no updated timeline to return to service. Critical for life of students of SAIT residing here. Also, represents the highest downtime for service and repair on campus. The scope in FY 2025 will include consultant and a general contractor to support design, procurement and ordering of equipment for construction in FY 2026. Owner requires that all interested parties sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in order to access the plans and specs for this project.
