Amend 0002 The purpose of this amendment is to answer a contractor question. Questions pertaining to this RFQ are due by 19 December 2024 / 10:00 AM PT Email Questions to: Kathleen Rauch (Contracting Officer) at kathleen.rauch@us.af.mil The government is seeking asbestos abatement for building 2036 at Fairchild AFB. Please see attached Combo FA462025QA913, with attachments for more details. The Contractor shall complete all work, which includes furnishing all supervision, labor, material, equipment and services, unless otherwise specified herein, required under this contract. All work shall be performed in accordance with all Federal, State, local laws and regulations, manufacturer's recommendations and this Statement of Work (SOW). - Contractor shall provide appropriate asbestos certified personnel to properly abate and dispose of asbestos containing materials from 3 mudded fittings to facilitate valve replacement in the mechanical room of B. 2036. - Contractor shall properly remove and dispose of all asbestos containing material from the 3 identified fittings to reveal the valves underneath. Encapsulation is not authorized. - No asbestos abatement has occurred in this facility within the last calendar year. - Contractor shall develop a detailed work plan. This work plan shall consist of, as a minimum, the scope and location of work performed, floor plan of the worksite noting locations of asbestos abatement, photographs of the worksite, notification records, air monitoring test records, employee training records, and waste shipment records. - Contractor shall notify the Spokane Regional Air Agency as required. - Office furniture will all be removed by the government prior to start of work. - All asbestos removal shall comply with 40 CFR 61 and 763 (U S EPA), 29 CFR 1910.1001 1926.1101, 1910.134 (OSHA), 49 CFR 172-177 (Dept. of Transportation), SRCAA Regulation I Article IX, Washington Administrative Code (WAC) Chapters 296-62 and 296- 65, Department of Labor and Industries regulations, and applicable Air Force Instructions (AFIs).
