Site work and paving for a civil project in Washington, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

LMIG Paving Project No Proposal may be withdrawn after the proposal closing time for the receipt of Proposals for a period of sixty (60) days. No pre-proposal meeting will be held for this project. The work completed shall consist of paving approximately 1.8 miles of asphalt roadway complete with 1.5" of asphalt overlay, transition milling, striping, manhole risers, and all appurtenances necessary for a complete installation. The Work shall be completed in Spring 2025, but the exact start date and time allotted for completion shall be provided by the Bidder. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. All bonds shall be by a surety company licensed in Georgia with an "A" minimum rating of performance and a financial strength of at least five (5) times the contract price as listed in the most current publication of "Best's Key Rating Guide Property Liability". Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. Each Bond shall be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond. Funding is to be provided by LMIG and local funds. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Proposals and to reject the Proposal of any Proponent if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Proponent, whether because the Proposal is not responsive or the Proponent is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner. If needed an Addendum addressing any questions received prior to the cut-off date, will be issued by 10:00 AM on January 9, 2025.
