Project Consists of Traffic Control, Road Signs, Rpms (Raised Pavemnt Markers, and Striping on Various.county Roads. Sealed Proposals for Furnishing All Labor, Material, Equipment, and Services Necessary to Successfully Accomplish the Following Work No telephone inquiries will be addressed regarding this bid. Email: barry.wood@wsp.com Any questions regarding the project scope. docurnent and/or specifications must be submitted in writing no later than seven (7) days prior to the bid date. All bids must include a 5% bid bond with submission. (No exceptions). All bids must be executed by an officer of the company legally authorized to execute documents and to bind the company financially. The corporate seal, if appropriate, must be affixed to the bid. A performance bond and payment bond for 100% of the contract price will be required to be presented prior to the award of the contract The contract will be awarded to the responsive, responsible Bidder submitting the lowest base bid complying with the conditions of the invitation to bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the interest of the Owner. Any decisions of Wilkes County regarding the bid and selection process are final. Prior to execution of the contract documents, a certificate of insurance will be required to be provided to the Owner. Coverage must be maintained for the duration of the project. Each policy required by this clause shall be endorsed to state that coverage shall not be suspended, voided, canceled by either party, reduced in coverage or limits except after thirty (30) days prior written notice by certified mail, return receipt requested, has been given to Wilkes County Contractor shall include all subcontractors as insured under its policies or shall furnish separate certificates and endorsements for each subcontractor. All coverage for subcontractors shall be subject to all of the requirements stated herein. Contractor shall maintain limits no less than those shown on the Special Provision on the next page. Wilkes County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Questions should be directed to this office.
